    Introduction

    Composite Regional Centre for Skill Development, Rehabilitation & Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, Imphal is an initiative of Govt. of India, Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment. The centre is located at Imphal, Juvenile Justice Board Complex, Takyel, Imphal West district of Manipur. The centre has been functioning since 27 December 2021 under the administrative control of Swami Vivekananda National Institute of Rehabilitation Training and Research (SVNIRTAR), Odisha. The aim of CRC, Imphal is to provide services to the PWDs and develop manpower in the field of disabilities in the North Eastern Region (NER). It provides comprehensive rehabilitation services at the center and through extended services (Identification, assessment and distribution camps) to the PWDs. The center has been providing therapeutic and rehabilitation services for all types of Disabilities under the same rood. The centre has

    The centre also conducts various courses in the field of disabilities. Presently, the centre is running 3 courses namely -DISLI , Data Entry Operator Training, Locomotor Disability & Employability skill.
